Your Helping Hand!
I like to call myself an Outgoing-Introvert, as I love connecting one-on-one with folks and socializing. However, a full day of this means that I need a full day by myself, reading a great book. My values are ones of open and honest communication, helping others, and continued learning and personal growth. My employers, clients, and colleagues call me dependable, resourceful, and well organized. They also appreciate my willingness to help out wherever I can and the ability to handle any challenges thrown my way.
I have over 10 years of experience in healthcare management, having worked in primary and specialty care, private practice and federally funded clinics. My experience ranges from management of various large projects (detailed on our Projects page for ease of reference) to day-to-day operations of a medical clinic. The ability to guide a clinic towards compliance with state and federal regulations is something I excel at. I enjoy writing policies and procedures as well as training staff and providers.
As for my formal education, I hold a Fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and an MBA in Health Service Administration. My thesis for my MBA and Fellowship is titled, “The Integration of Behavioral Health and Primary Care: Selecting an Electronic Health Record (2011)” I have also published two other articles in The Journal of Medical Practice Management. These are titled “Determining the Value of Front Desk Staff in a Medical Clinic (2018)” and “Benchmarking in Healthcare: Steps for Improvement (2019).”
